Regardles off which software we can assist with implementing (in part or in full), our approach will adhere to our process that's generated repeatable success with software.

1. Gather

We spend as much time as needed to  meticulously understand your needs, identity as an organization, and goals (long-term and short-term).

2. Configure

We identify which parts of the solution we can use "out-of-the-box" and which aspects will require time to tailor it to you through agile development cycles.

3. Develop

Through an iterative approach, we'll build and test the software in small increments. Each increment is assessed for approval to identify any rework required and its impact.

4. Deploy

Arguably one of the most important aspects of delivering software is how it gets deployed. This includes training and skilling up team members and ensuring the user base is confident in how to use the software solution.

5. Improve

Once the team is live and using the software, it's time to gather feedback from the team, make adjustments, and lean into the cycle of continuous involvement and improvement of your software solution.

We have a relentless commitment to a successful outcome, and our process was developed from 10+ years of implementing software. At every step of the way, we are constantly assessing and managing the project's scope, budget, and timeline.

  • Scope: we define this as the original set of configurations and customizations to the base software system. "Scope creep" - or the addition of new requests during a software implementation project - is a natural part of any project. As people see and get excited about what the new solution can do, they'll always ask, "can it do this?" We embrace scope creep, but we are also very transparent with any addition of Scope and its impact on the Budget and Timeline.

  • Budget: the project's Budget is our best estimate of the effort required to implement your solution, train your designated team members and make the implementation a success. While we try not to issue change orders, impacts to Scope and/or Timeline create an impact to the Budget.

  • Timeline: the time we estimate that it will take to implement the agreed Scope of the project. Timeline is measured in Agile "sprints," which consist of 14 calendar day intervals. The Budget is based on this estimate of time, and management of Scope has a direct impact on whether the timeline will be effected. Additionally, re-work discovered within a project can contribute to the project's Timeline extending.

No project is perfect. Scope, Budget, and/or Timeline all seem to require flexibility to ensure you're getting exactly what you want in the software solution being implemented. Embracing change and managing the delivery of the software with full transparency allows all parties to voice concerns or set firm timelines as needed to bring the project to a successful conclusion.
